Wednesday, January 6, 2010 - On Wednesday January 6th, 2010 the Aberdeen Fire Department was alerted for a motor vehicle with Rescue at Route 40/Route 7.
Units arrived on Old Philadelphia (Rt 159) near South Philadelphia Blvd. (Rt 40) to find a pickup truck had t-boned a 4-door sedan and driven it up into the side parking lot of the liquor store.
Crews arrived on scene to find a pickup truck was totaled and unmovable - caught up the curb, with intrusion into the front passenger door of sedan.
A passenger of the sedan was extricated from the vehicle by cutting out drivers seatback and center console, and then removed through driver's side, rear door.
