Engine to Level for the Dwelling Fire

On Tuesday July 6th, 2010 at 0929 hours the Aberdeen Fire Department was alerted for respond an engine to the scene of a Dwelling Fire at 3003 Snake Lane.

Engine 213 went enroute within minutes, where they were advised by Harford County EOC that the caller was reporting smoke in the basement.

Engine 113 (Level) and Engine 213 arrived on scene, to find the fire had been extinguished by occupants on scene.  Crews checked for extension and then cleared the scene.

The fire was started after a Comcast employee had drilled into the floor and caused a spark to catch some insulation on fire, which was extinguished with a fire extinguisher.
