On June 8th, 2010 at approximately 1357 hours the Aberdeen Fire Department was alerted for a Dwelling Fire at 330 Paradise Road.

Battalion Chief 2-1 was immediately on the air, where Harford County Division of Emergency Operations advised, first caller you could hear the smoke detector activation, second caller advised that the dwelling was on fire.

Engine 211 was the first unit en route, followed within minutes by Engine 215.  Engine 211 arrived with a working fire in the attic, crews pulled multiple lines and made an aggressive interior attack.

Truck 1231 (APG) arrived and was instructed by command to go to Side Charlie of the structure and assist.

Initial Command was held by Captain Steven Hinch, later face to face transferred to Battalion Chief Dale Budnick, Operations- Captain Steven Hinch

Other units operating on the scene at this time, Engine 512 (SHCO), Engine 515 (SHCO), Tower 231, Engine 113 (Level-transfer to Company 2 House 1) later came to the scene, Paramedic 291

Command also requested BG+E Gas and Electric to the scene as well as the Maryland State Fire Marshal.
